Got a bridge constructed. Always be wanting to build one. It's 5ft long and 10in wide. I could've been mean, but I put some slats down the middle.

***EDIT***
I have modified it since these pics. Made it little bit more tricky..but it ain't bad. Cut some middle slats out and added a dip to one side. Also added some paint. I'll leave it as a surprise.........

cool, like the bridge... looks like even a scaler could make it across.. nice double duty right there...

so after the real comp is over, will scalers be allowed to try the course? just wondering...

Maybe.....Since I made some mods, it's questionable. My JK will work on it. Some 1.9ers might can do it, XC...uuuhhhhh...slight chance with some finesse. I can make some piece that make it scaleable and velcro them on when needed....modular bridge.

Why sure. We also might go somewhere else to bash the scalers around. I just gotta locate a good please close by. We can also go to the park across the river and crawl in tree root heaven. It's good for scalers and comp rigs.

Have you heard anything from Chip?

Hi all,

Just curious if any of you guys ever crawl anywhere near Natchitoches? I've got a 1.9 I've been moding for a while now but I'm still pretty new to the RC world in general. I'd love to come check out you guys run. . . never been to a comp before.

yeah we'll see. Hopefully I can get some time off from work. For some reason I was thinking it was this weekend and with labor day I'dve been able to come. Next weekend. . .we'll see.

We would love to have you! Seems that we are going to have a pretty good turnout. At least it should be better than the last GTG we attempted here. Just me and Corkysk8 showed up....but we knew before hand that the others had something come up and couldn't make it. It seems that we are going to have more locals here, since we now have more crawlers here locally (they just don't chime in or don't frequent RCC).

Looks like I'm going to be able to make it up. Any other 1.9ers coming? Just ordered a New chassis for my MRC, hoping it comes in before then otherwise I'll just run what I have.

Good Deal

Alright trying to get a rough number.
So far I see.....

constantmotion
corkysk8
chipcross
truckerbuddy2 (maybe)
helhedded
rottenbelly
4WHEELPARTS
roach
TC09minilosi
Robbie (not his Username)
and hopefully 2, 3, 4, 5 other locals that don't frequent RCC.

There is a gas station 1/2 mile down the road, so....close to a potty and cold dranks. Most fast food joints are about 2 miles away for a quick bite for lunch if interested.

If anyone has a pop up gazebo, bring it. There isn't a tree around. There is a shelter there but it's on the other side of the track from the action. I am going to spray for wasps tomorrow under it. I didn't see any the last time I was out there. I might even pick up a can of spray foam to fill in some holes in the shelter so they cannot hide.

I am gonna head out there this afternoon to carry some things (logs for the bridge and what nots) out there. Need to do some weedeating Thursday or Friday to clean up a little.

I am looking forward to a great day on Saturday.

Got some bad news. I think I just fried my motor last night. I was still running the stock motor and ESC and now the ESC only seems to turn red when you throttle it. Steering works fine. So I'm thinking its the motor.:-( Sorry guys I was looking forward to it!
