Cool, maybe I'll be able to make it up there Tuesday then.
I think I can make the hill climb cross over above the tunnel with my eyes closed. My creeper loves that spot

Yes, its still setup for anyone to have fun crawling on. Usually some markers in the tunnel to use if you want to practice a certain line,

NIce work. What did you use to shape and texture the cement? How thick of a coating did you use?

The texture is from the Quikrete sand topper mix that I shape and finish by hand.

I will be adding another piece to it in the next 4-6 days.

Well sir, you do great work. I like it more and more everytime I look at this thread. I'm assuming you use a thin layer, and didn't intend for it to support someone walking on it?
Did you tint it?
That must be a helluva hobby store to rate this kinda freebie.

Yes, the layers are pretty thin. They range form 1/4" (mostly) to 1/2" thick. The cool thing is you can patch it really easy. I have patched it 3 times in several places. The last time I patched, I used Quikrete acrylic fortifier mixed 3/4 to 1/4 water and it makes the thin layer more durable.

The LHS has definitely become more crawler friendly since the rocks showed up. The crawler population has grown also.

I put an overhang on the one end that was not finished today. I want to start making the 4' X 4' section that will be used at the Southern Nationals rock crawling area. I will start one of these this week. If anyone wants to make one, let me know.
