hey i live by pineville so i need somewhere to crawl relatively close does anyone know of any good places

hey bud im in sulphur, ive been to camp claiborne a few times, or you could always goto the dunes, i have a few truck trails that i run my scaler on

ya i use to goto claibore to ride my atv but i got rid of my stock exhaust and it had no spark arrestor so i couldnt go no more, im down for a gtg at claiborne

I would love to come down and check out that area. Post up some pics of Claiborne Camp scaler areas and we can get a GTG scheduled. I need to do some wheelin' ASAP. I would think that central LA has some good spots for scalers. We just don't have many eyes in this part to scout it out for us. 2-3 yrs ago we had a Comp at Longleaf Vista (just west of Derry, LA) and it has a few good scalers areas. We had to clean off tons of pinestraw to reveal a spot good enough for a comp. i know kisatchie like the back of my hand , thats where me and my dad use to do all our huntin, next time im up around claiborne ill snap some pics

well the rocks are few and far between, but some of the hardest stuff my truck has ever climbed was the washout area of dirt turned hardpack, it was like concrete, but it was steep, full of ruts and was slicker then owl shit
