This a new spot? Or has there been comps before?

Looks like enough to get some cones on, that's all that matters!

I had planned to do one here for my fall series but no one was able to make it to this spot. These are the pictures I should have posted months ago. . .

I still haven't figured out how to mark a spot on a google map and then post it. . .

Kisatchie National Forest - Longleaf Vista Trail

About 30 minutes north of Alexandria. About 20 minutes from Natchitoches.

we used to comp there back in 08 TC, not only was it a good spot for that, but the scaler bashing was nutz further back in the solid rock creeks!

This area used to be known as Red Dirt, before they changed over to Kisatchie. I like to bring the family hiking while i run the scaler on the trails with us. There are nice campsites, restrooms, tables, and some fantastic scenery. I live in Deville, so it's about an hour drive, but we try to make it out every other weekend or so. Maybe I'll run into you guys!

I'm waiting to see when exactly the TX state championship is going to be. I'd like to get in some practice before then. Looking like June 9th will be best. I was going to pause after ECC, but since nationals is in Alabama this year, I'll wait until after my doomed run in TX to quit for a bit.

SO, hows June 9th? Say start time at 10am, we can run Pro for sure, and then 2.2s, mini, scalers depending on what we have.

I think June 9th would work great for me. 2.2 for sure, sportsman more than likely, mini chance on the mini.
