Gonzales La. While I don't have a crawler yet I'm hoping to have one by tis weekend and will be tring to build a course here at my house. I have abut 5 friends that have 1/8 buggies and some monster trucks but I'll be the frist one out of our group to try out a crawler |

I know the feeling Everyone around me has 1/8th scale truggys and bugggys or 1/10th scale on roads. I wanted to jump on the band wagon of the crawler also and I am just about done with my two crawlers. I am offshore right now but when I go home next week I should finish up my scaler and more than likely complete the ax10 also. Then I will be looking for a place to crawl. kinda hard where I live being all we have is rice and sugar cane fields and mud holes everywhere.

I may be moving back to Baton Rouge and if so I have every intention of building a course in my backyard. Not just a few rocks thrown together like I have now. I will build something freaking big. I'm near Austin now and it's beautiful. I will hate to leave.:-( Anyway, There have to be some urban places around the BR to have some crawls. I know a lot of it wouldn't necessarily be rock crawling but with a little imagination I bet we could find something to roll around on. Does ARK/LA/MS have a website &/or forum? |

An AX-10 is a great out of the box crawler so if you only want to crawl you can't miss with that. If you want something that you can "bash", look at a Wheely King. It's not the crawler that an AX-10 is right out the box, but it can be made capable with a few mods and can take a good amount of abuse. |

I know of the place, we would go ride over there every weekend, i know there has to be some good places to claw, i know there was some bunkers there that had lots of rocks, but just can't remeber where it was.....I thought about that and going to check it out. But its mostly a ATV and dirt bike riding area....... Eric |
