| The Wall
Behind Cahill Tire in Bath(where I work) there is a wall of rock that's begging to be crawled. The rocks are 8" to 12" in size. It's about a 40ish degree slope, around 125 feet high(or more) if I had to guess, and probably 500 feet long. If 30 of us showed up there would be room for all of us to go side by side with 10 feet or more between crawlers. Nobody's lines would be alike. With larger rigs like my Wraith, it's not a whole lot of challenge(5 minutes to the top at the most), but for smaller rigs like SCX-10s it is definitely a formidable opponent. I've taken my rigs there a few times and crawled up a total of maybe 20-30 feet in about a 20 minute span. LOTS of wheel spinning, correcting, and trying to maintain a course of travel. Even coming down the hill is a challenge!! Lots of parking in Cahill's yard, especially on Sundays when we're closed. |

I've done slopes like that with the dually dodge. For those climbs wider is certainly better lol

I don't work there any more, but no reason we can't still crawl it!
