I live in Parkville. I checked out double rock park a few weeks ago and I didn't see anything to crawl on. I ride my Mt Bike at GunPowder State Park , the one off of Belair Rd in Perry Hall. There's TONS of rocks back in there, it would be about a 1/2 mile hike down the main trail to get to the big rock garden. It's right where everyone goes swimming at.

I'd be interested in going back there with my ax-10.

mods are limited to a 4 link suspension, stage3 lockers and 2.2 Rock Crushers w/ a HPI Beetle body for tire clearance. I only have 2 batteries, and one of those is starting to die.

I can't remember the name of the connectors, but they are not the Tamiya style. There are red and shaped like a 'T' with interlocking blades.

I'm going to Delta PA to watch and maybe participate in a comp on Sunday. I'm having trouble getting in touch wit anyone from the SVCR club.

let me know if you find some good rocks at R.E. Lee park, I could meet you there next sunday. I think you are right about the connenctors, I seem to remember that name. The kid at the hobby shop told me they are the most popular style of connenctor.

My ESC still has the Tamiya style connenctor for the battery hookup. I haven't changed them yet. I'm waiting to go to a axle mounted batt packs. That big battery on the top really messes up my CG.

I know the park pretty well,I'm thinking of going in off of Falls rd.,by Princeton Sports.Dean's plugs handle more power.
If your esc takes Tamiya plugs I'll bring xtra batts. Got somr new parts to try out. Steering upgrades and bent lower
links. Plus I'm going make E-maxx into an SS crawler

I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything But I live in Parkville. What do you mean there's nothing to crawl on in Double Rock?
here's a few pics I took today The Rc is a slash so you can try to get a scale on the size of some ledges and most of it is off camber.....

whoa- all I can saw is, I definately missed that stuff when I drove around the park last summer. That park is literally 5 minutes from my house. Shoot me an IM if you want to meet up sometime and crawl around. I need to test out my new comp rig, those rocks look perfect.
