Default Picked up a new set of shoes

Ax10 Buggy gets a new set of shoes.

a brand new set orange ringed mayhem double phatty wheels
With a brand new set of (4) HPI rock grabbers
Stuffed with a brand new set of northwest traction technologies hybrid reach foams

Gonna do a tuber to match the 1:1 comp buggy this year sometime,
And I Figured they would match the Maxxis Trepadors that are going on the single seater this year.
so they will go on the scale comp buggy when thats done.
For now, they will go on the Digger.

The orange has got to go... but that should be easy. Sorry Tonka

I saw those yesterday in the for sale section. Great job. Let us know how you like them.

You're going to make Tonka cry.

everyone was getting cheater tires, so i figured i wanted some too

plus my hot racing beadlocks, the screw heads aren't counter sunk and they hit the rocks alot. hopefully this will stop that.

here is a pic i saw comparing the Rock Claws to the Rock Grabbers.
there has to be at least a 1/2" difference.

Yeah, no kidding. Those things are huge. BTW: if you ever need help with your 1:1's I'll gladly come lend a helping hand. Just give me a buzz.

I had no choice, my poor little tires were falling through the bridge at the last comp

Enjoy all those button heads. I get annoyed at just having to do 8 per wheel.

Well, thanks to Mayhem, and his great customer service.

I picked up another set of Mayhems Dbl Phattys, BERG offset wheels this time.

I didnt even think about the 1st sets offset when i got them.

but now i have the correct offset, all mounted up and ready to rock.

the Black and Gold ones are now for sale, since these are now on the Truck.

I thought 8 per side was too many on mine.

Switch them over to phillips and use an electric driver. I can swap my chisels over at about 5 mins per wheel, including a redo for a bad bead

I do mine the same way. Learned that trick 2 years ago when I had my super class rig. I like how tall those tires are.

Be careful with those tires. My friend has a set on his Venom Creeper and the tire folded over, got caught on the knuckle and tore a huge hole in the sidewall. He is not happy. They do climb very well though.
