For those that care, my dig didn't break at the very end, the set screw that holds the drive cog on came loose.

I need the HD stuff anyway.

This was definitely a fun comp with some very difficult courses. I recommend everyone go next year to have a bigger MD presence.

The top five definitely dealt out a berg spanking. Bergs were the only ones that finished the course, and they had a tough time at that.

After your wife goes to bed, post pics of the hot asian 12 year olds posing on the 80s hondas. I know you took some.

Yeah, it was funny seeing Lou's buggy with no floor, trans, or t case. I got to play with Blake's aluminum Toy for a few minutes and managed to leave my mark on it. Those bodies are awsome and I can't wait to have one done for my K5 build.

That white or blue Ford are not for me but I was impressed that the white one actually had a front driveshaft. 42* CV at both ends. I bet that was expensive to have built.

Ok I must be a complete idiot because I couldn't find you guys anywhere. I didn't even see the rock crawler course. I saw James and Mike over by the KGB booth thingy displayamabob but didn't get a chance to talk to them. Where was the course set up at??? Was it in the Equine Arena where the RC racing was??? If so I walked all around there and couldn't find it I was so stinkin mad that was the second biggest reason I went up! ugh!!!

It was in the back of the electric buggy and slash track. We were adjacent to the Nitro Arena. How those guys can do nitro racing indoors all day and not die, is beyond me. My eyes were burning after watching them for 5 minutes.

Great time. This just got me more excited about the MD comps

I had a hell of a hang over from the fumes by the time I got home. I don't know how they can stand it.

James was so distraught by his devastating loss, I had to give him the shirt I won as a door prize in order to console him.

If you look at this set of gates on the right, I don't think a single shafty made it through these gates without pointing out or hitting a gate. These gates were also near the end of the course, so if you hit them, you would pretty much point out by now.

The only shafty I saw at least make it up, had a puller motor, and rocketed through it.

Another view

I had a great time. My feet are killing me. Definetly some tough courses. I am glad I did as well as I did. MD represent. Could have been better though.

Small mistakes make or break you on this course. Berg is on the minds of all that went up I am sure. I think the shafties were really just unlucky on the drivers part.

It was all doable. We seen it, Putting it all together for that perfect run was the challenge.

I broke a ring and pinion at the end of the day messing around. On order to be ready for the next comp.

Funny. We were talking about how the stock ones were pretty strong I have extras if it doesn't come in time.

I felt like a complete newb-amatuer on that course...I barely made the thrid gate and pointed out.....and then went back to run my buggy and the next thing I knew I was too late to run the second course:-(...oh well, a bad day rc'n is still better than work!!! Next year will be better!!
