Default What should I do with this battery

Ok so I have been working hard to get this thing ready for the comp Sunday. Anyone running a stick pack on the rear axle? I can't run it where it is now because the spur gear will hit it. Any suggestions? I'm hoping nex gen will get those Lipos in by Friday that way I'll just run a lipo but I don't think its gonna happen. Check out my build thread to see where I have my batterys now. Its under the cross post between the shocks toward the front. I dunno what to do I was gonna get battery bars and cut my packs apart and make saddle packs but the cells are to big. Ok let me know what you think I don't wanna be last Sunday although I know I will be haha.

Having the battery on the rear axle will hurt you for some of the climbs on the comp. I would attach it to your upper front links and let it hang over the front servo.

Or try to pick up a lipo or saddle pack if you can.

Wow great response guys thanks a lot. Um I run Traxxas high current plugs so if those packs have deans plugs i'm kind of screwed. Good news is though I stopped at Nexgen and talked to Danni and I helped her open up the new shippment of Lipos . She couldn't sell me any yet though because they are not in the system and need to be labelled and all that stuff. They are like 3 cell 25c 2200 mah 11.1v about the size of the pack Kane uses. They got like $4000 dollars worth of Lipos in today. So yeah I'm gonna pick up two of those tomrrow. They have Deans plugs installed on them already so i gotta switch it over to the Traxxas deals. Anyway thanks again guys I really appreciate it. See you all Sunday.

If you want to spot me till Sunday, I would take 2 of the 800mah ones.

I am good for it I promise.

The bigger ones are like 25 or 30 for the 3 cell I don't think they got any of the 2 cell 800 mah ones in yet. The bigger ones are 3 cell 2200 mah and I just talked to her she said they got some 2 cell 1800 mah ones too that are 7.4 volt but she said the pack is bigger. The 2 cell 800 mah ones aren't due in till next Friday though.
