Default Maryland Old School style 2.2 Comp

A few of us, have decided to get together and hold an "Old School" style 2.2 Comp
Maybe sometime later this year. Maybe Mid September or after.

Get your stuff together now.

USRCCA rules for Class 4 seemed like a good place to start

▪ 2.5.1 - Vehicle wheelbase is limited to a maximum of 12.5 inches.

the bottom of the outermost edge of the front and rear tires while the vehicle is sitting on level ground.
▪ 2.5.3 - Wheel/ rim is limited to 2.2 inch or smaller at the bead surface.
Wheels may be modified, provided that the tire bead surface does not exceed 2.2 inches in diameter.
With a tire mounted, no exterior component of the wheel, including but not limited to, the bead lock ring shall exceed 2.55".
▪ 2.5.4 -Tires may be modified from other sized tires using only a pliable rubber, but must not exceed a total uncompressed outer diameter of 6 inches.

Count me in. I have enough space to host at my small farm. I have enough rock and materials for 3 to 4 courses.

New to the scene. Sounds like a lot of fun! Don't have a 2.2 rig but I'd be interested in spectating. I have a mildly modified scx10. I'm in the Frederick area.

Looks like a real good time!! I haven't had my rig long but I've found a few good places to wheel up at Cunningham Falls. I really enjoy the technical rock sections. I'll stay tuned for more info; would enjoy watching a competition as I've never been to one.

I'd be up for that. I sold my scaler to build a short course truck.

Carderock Park, or Sugarloaf Mountain have been suggested.
We are going to vote on a date soon.
Sunday October 11th and Sunday October 18th have been suggested as to not interfere with Bobrocks the 1st weekend in October.
