| NY, NJ & CT Crawl Event????
Since there has been a serious lack of interest in this area I'll bring it up again with high hopes. Who in the Tri-State area would be willing to get together and/or host a crawl party? I wish I could step up to the plate but Long Island doesn't have an abundance of good crawling grounds on the south shore area. As for myself I am willing to travel and have seating/storage to spare. Let's get something going. Kris |

Anyone live in the Catskill's? That would be a good central location for an event for northern Jersey, Upstate and down state NY, CT and MA. |

When in July? I live in Thomaston, about 15 minutes outside Waterbury. I would definately be up for a get together if I get my TLT done by then.

Not sure on the date for the July crawl yet rockhound. We'll probably figure that out at our June crawl (Sunday the 26th). Don't worry about if the TLT is done or not, come along anyhow! Meet the locals and get some ideas! If you're up for it, we could always use a spare hand for shooting pics and vids! We're fairly close to eachother rockhound! I'm in Waterbury, right around the corner from where RT8 and RT84 cross. We should crawl sometime, big get-together or not! |

Sounds good to me. I have a small rock pit on the back edge of my yard, and will have much more when I tear down the "rock wall" the previous homeowner put around the driveway. Have to find some cool wooded areas too if we can.

Yes, that Catskill's are in NY, exit 21 on the Thruway (87 for non-NYer's) Let's not hijack the thread and give it to Uncle Jim Bob. |

When is entirerly up the those interested and when they can make it. Where is still somewhat up in the air. I'm still pushing for something north of the city for a far better crawling environment. |

I would definitely be down for a crawl. I haven't found a spot by me yet. (BRONX). But I do recall an area in Rockland County that was pretty rocky. It's been years since I've been up there but if I find something I'll fill ya in. Look forward to the July date in Conn. Sounds like we got quite a big group here that just needs some good cooridination.

bvek, NERCC had 7 crawlers at our June event on Sunday the 26th. This is our normal crew also. 2 guys missed a few meets, but they were busy doing important stuff like buying homes/moving/etc. There is an organized group (NERCC), and we crawl all over. Only thing this area needs is some people who will actually come out to crawl instead of talking about it! Mr.wonderful has come out to quite a few meets now. He is not quite 17 yet and doesn't drive, but even he can manage to find a way to get out and crawl! He's pretty good at it, too! |

fullmodtxt, When is the next crawl going to be, or when is your normal crawling day? I hear ya about the Talk, talk, talk. I must say life for myself has been crazy. I'm building a house, adopted a two year old, getting married on the 23rd of July and currently unemployed. But lovin' my gecko II. So, I hope to see ya soon but may be later than sooner. Thanks for the info. Good luck to ya. |
