Default NERCC Reschedule

Guys how do you feel about moving the get together out two more weeks? We could reschedule it for Saturday, March 11th ? This coming weekend is just not going to accommodate all of our members. We have a limited amount of members and I think we need to plan things so that the maximum amount are able to attend.

This way it gives everyone a little more time to adjust their schedules and perhaps a little warmer weather also. : - )

Kona, the 11th should work fine for me. I think we will be better off that weekend, for attendance and weather reasons. That December crawl was COLD! Took the whole drive home with the heat on to get rid of the chill I had from bieng out in 30 degree weather all day!

No, those pics are from last year when we went to Lincoln Woods. They must have just been recently uploaded by a member.

Yeah, two weeks to get my junk ready.

I was thinking. It mightbe cool to set up a comp. Shaftys and Clods in the same class. If we get alot of members to come itd be pretty fun! Lets see what everyone else thinks.

Corey, we've never done any kind of "comp" stuff with classes or whatever. It's just not our style, and I see no reason to change things. We've been doing our thing for over 2 years now, and it works well for us. We just don't dig marking courses, setting rules, scoring, and the whole process. All of that stuff is time and effort that we'd prefer to spend crawling and finding a good place for lunch!

Lincoln Woods would be at least another month. And it would be a "bash." Besides, I dont think we even know what the "Almighty, Follow them or Burn in Crawler Hell" rules are.

We'll certainly be doing Lincoln Woods again. It is a cool place, with lots of tricky crawling spots and great scenery. Everything we do is just a "bashing session" or whatever kinda crawl. Everybody is welcome! Don't worry about what you crawl with or anything. No rules or restrictions! Just throwdown and crawl!!!!!!!!! Oh, and bring spare parts.

Wonderful, you don't need to worry about what those "burn in crawler hell" rules are. The novice class would apply to you, and the rules are very forgiving. Just read that "RC crawling for dummies 101" that you got on ebay and you'll be off to a good start.

Cool NERCC March 11th

OK Y'all, date has been changed. There is no February crawl! Old thread should get moved into this one. March crawl is set for Saturday March 11th at Old Furnace State Park in Danielson CT. 10AM till whenever. We normally do not have transmitter frequency conflicts, but always have everybody post what they use anyhow.

I'm running FM 69.
