| Skinner Mountain 2011 - start up
Hey all, so the word keep spreading about Skinner. This year could be full of new folks trying their hand at crawling. Talking to Gary at Pioneer Valley Hobbies, he said they are selling lots of Honchos and folks are asking about these scale GTG at Skinner. FYI - PV Hobbies is now carrying RC4wd crawler parts, and are planning an indoor course. I expect the road to the top to not be open until mid May, but you never know. Stay tuned to this thread to find out when the first gtg will be. |

What kind of a turnout do you guys have at this location and how would you feel about a Vermonter coming down for the day? How far is it from the border?

We have had a big group before i think the last time there was 10-15 or so people and like 30 scalers but that was the biggest i saw from last year... It's tricky trying to have a day when everyone can go. I'm not sure how far from the border it is but its like 10-15 mins from 91

| I'd say if you were heading 91 south, once you cross into MA it's close to 50 minutes depending which way you go. All are welcome, it's a free country (last I knew), we just GTG to have fun, no comps or judges. Come on down!! You never know who'll be there!

Remember NO Nitros!! This is a state park. You might want bug spray and a lunch. If you have stuff to trade/sell always a good idea! |
