Boston Crawlers - Knox Park - June 1st

This coming Saturday! is Boston Crawlers Fourth Outdoor event of the season. Knox Memorial Park is in Melrose and is another new location for BC this year. To anyone who has not come to one of our events we welcome you to stop by and check it out, or enter a truck in one of our comp classes.

As mentioned in our Outdoor schedule we will be running a 2.2 Pro class as well as a 2.2S class. Please see USRCCA rules to find out where your truck belongs. We will also be running a modified class for those who are new to crawling (though this class is not part of the Nationals Qualifier).

Again the event will be held at Knox Memorial Park in Melrose MA. Registration will begin at 10:00am and the competition will begin at 10:30. There will be three courses for all classes. We will be using the 2013 version of the USRCCA rules.

Looks like Saturday is going to be a scorcher, REMEMBER to bring Sunscreen, Water, Etc. Fortunately this location should have a decent amount of shade.

looks like i should be making tomorrow's comp. going to load up the backpack with water and sunscreen. hopefully that leaves room for the rigs!

If it looks like we are going to stay in the same area for the day I can dig out the popup for some artificial shade. If people want to help lug it around we could certainly move it with us.

Thanks to everyone who came out and suffered the heat to do some great driving.

We ran three courses for Pro class and Shafty. Congratulations go to Dan R for taking home the gold in Shafty... Again

And a big Congrats to Bob for winning his first 2.2 Pro event in our club. He also managed to pull himself into second place in the series with that win. It will certainly make for a good event #5, which is also the last event in the Nationals Qualifier (not the last event of the year).

Also a Big thanks to Castle from BC, and Probably more so from Bob for sponsoring this event with a Mamba Micro Pro, THANKS GUYS!
