Skinner Mountain - October

Hey All, I have not been up to the mountain at all this year. So, I have a quest to set up one more get together before we all forget about this excellent location!

I'm choosing Oct Xth (Xth as a rain date). After that, the park starts to close at 4pm instead of 6pm. The weekend of the 19th is out for me, but the others are open right now.

If you're interested and can make the Xth, post up here! Or with the dates you can make it in October.

The park closes the last Sunday of October.

Not going to be able to make it to this.

You may have a hard time with that weekend, RC Excitement is having a TTC event that weekend and Boston Crawlers is hosting our 4th Annual King of the Hammers event that weekend as well.

Hope you guys have a fun time.

Im down to go but as stated above Ill be at the rc excitement comp on the 5th. Any other weekend would work that month tho.

if it's open......., 10 is good, but with the big ole shutdown, who knows if the road will be open? I will drive by the entrance to see if there are any signs next week, but this could be a bust....I hope not though.

It's a state park, right? Shouldn't be affected at all.

I'm a definite possibility, will try to get my 1 crawling buddy up here to go too.

I will drive by the entrance just to make sure tomorrow.

9 or 10am is good, but 10 is safer.

Ill try and be there a little before 10am (9:30ish), but I have a bit of a haul.

Looks as though it is open from 9-4pm. I can only stay till 12, so going to try and get there before 10. Dress warm as I bet it will be a bit chilly.

Hey Brian, I'm planning on staying till 12, but the park is open till 4pm. bring a camera and a lunch and just stay. It's a beautiful place. Hoping to leave in about 15 min.
