| TJ's Axial AX10 Shafty
My local RC Club is hosting a Monster Truck event next month. I have a Mod Clod and decided to build a Shafty MT with parts I had got from another club member. AX10 Deadbolt Chassis Rc4wd AR60 axles HR all Metal Transmission Yeti Trailing Arms Front & Rear Right now it's sitting on 2.2 MT tires but will run Clod wheels and tires as soon as I order them. Still undecided as to.what to run for power. I have a Mamba Monster X and a Holmes 3500kv Puller pro but I'm thinking a higher KV motor might be better. I also need to get diff gears to run the axles open. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk |

What's the benefit to being open front and rear? I can understand the front for the improved steering but why open diff the rear?

So it looks like the rest of the parts I have been waiting for have arrived and I can now breath some life into this pig. Going to throw my Mamba Monster X and a Holmes 3500KV Puller Pro in it and see how she does. I also have Pro-Line destroyers to mount to my new Pro-Line wheels. I think the hardest part will be shimming up the diffs with the HPI gear sets to get them to last as I keep reading that they can be a pain in the but to get right. I also have some HR Wraith Sway bars to install should be running buy the weekend.

Spent some time today getting the truck all put together. I didn't take many pictures and I still need to add the sway bars and glue the tires. She's running a Holmes Hobbies 3300kv Puller Pro with a Mamba Max esc. She moves good on 2s and will be a blast on 3s. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk |

| Re: TJ's Axial AX10 Shafty The Body is an older Pro-Line Chevy Pickup that I had got in a recent trade. Fits the chassis well but will soon be replace. The HR sway bar is a direct fit front and rear as long as you install a second battery tray in the front. I have the new battery tray on order and should be here this week. I need to make some custom end links for the sway bars and will do that this week as well.
