Default T maxx to e maxx

Hello guys I need some help I have a tmaxx .15 that i am converting I wanted a mmx 2200 for it but someone told me if I used that I would have to upgrade diffs, driveshafts, and trans not trying to do all that for it. Then I stumbled on the a kershaw 700 ho not sure if will work and I have a how 2 RC motor mount for a castle mamba 2200 but don't know if it's the same or do I have to use kershaw mount with it just tryin to play around with it and have power with it but at the same time not break the bank to any help for other combos as well that would work for it thanks

The 2200 will be fine as long as you run 4s and don't try to kill it. Just put an emaxx transmission in it.

I did this conversion before I joined rcc so let that date soak in.

You'll need to swap the transmission and the driveline yokes are different on the trans. Emaxx is 6mm and t maxx is 5mm since it doesn't put out the bottom end torque of the electric motor.

It's cheaper these days to make it strong, just use revo drivelines and it'll live. The revo didn't exist yet so I used mip's throughout.

I agree emaxx trans is going to be the best bet for the conversion. I would think anything brushless is going to require some updating on the diffs.
