Should have been here last weekend. I was on them. When I drove by tonight, it was raining like crazy. So I couldn't see much. Hoping everything is dry in the morning. Now the question is which rig to run. See you all in the morning. |

Thanks to all who showed up, turned out to be a cold day, but no rain. I had a blast and I hope everyone else had fun. I know it was small compared to Bob's, but we're learning and hope to make 2012 way better. Thanks to all who came and helped us score, create courses and time. As for scores: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...dsWFE&hl=en_US T-shirts: The new list (got some to add from today's payment Steve!) will be to Steve very soon. I'll let him chime in on details. Prizes: The vendors we tried were tight based on a quick time and well that sucks. We aren't in this as a club to make money at a comp. So all money left over after the t-shirts and eventbrite gets paid, will be pooled and divided up by entrant and I'll find or strike a deal with Larrys for everyone to either get something we use often (i.e. revo rod ends) or a gift card. If he goes for gift cards, we can also send you money back via paypal if you don't shop there. T-shirts will be mailed to you or in person, we'll handle that once they and the prize is determined. Kevin: I have your plaque (its also a sticker...), as MiRCa's most improved driver for 2011. |

Just got home and I'm TIRED! Today was fun, glad to see everyone again and see a few new faces! Congrats to Peter on the win. You really drove well today. The finals course was not fun..... at all.... Things could have been done differently but hey, thats the way it goes I guess....Would have been nice to see a closer finish. Turnout looked low but you crawled and had some fun Good Mix of new Guys on top and that means some are crawling and some are not!! Events like this are not easy to run and take alot of time and planning seems like everyone has lots going on in there Personal lives and that happens as long as you learned how to improve it is worth it CONGRATS to the winners and WHERE IS MY DAM SHIRT ttyl Bob C |
