Pins seem to work really well on the smooth natural rock like at Auburn Hills, but they don't hook as well on concrete. Mainly because the pins don't have enough surface area to hook in the cracks and crevices in the porous concrete. The pins just fold over too easy on the concrete. The sedonas and rovers have large perpendicular tread blocks that will hook hard on that kind of stuff. Panthers would have likely worked even better! Next time I come out there, I'll have a set of Panther Cougars mounted up with some polished smooth sidewalls. Yeah, I said COUGARS!!! With F400 foams!! Sidewall lugs got quite a few people in trouble today, the cougars have a smooth sidewall that would not have bit so hard on that rock. | |

My cut to shit rovers seemed to work pretty well, when I was just bombing around free running. I'll let you try em next time I see ya Jesse, who knows I might be on to something, im sure im not the first person to try this. I was glad to see Greg out comping today with his hand over hand driving style.....I love it!!! I think Greg has enough room in his sweet a$$ barn for and indoor course....over the winter.....just sayin |

Dude I like the pinovers.... May just have to from mine the same way! BTW Jesse, I'm digging the name for the comp, and I agree I think we should turn this into a big comp and try to get guys from all over to attend! |
