Default 2012 MiRCa Schedule

Alright, we have a big year coming up, most comps by our group, since that's what our members want.

New rules/procedures:
  • $15 membership dues to cover the season for lost gates, paper, chalk. We are not a business trying to make money; left over funds will be spent on some sort of prizes or trophies for the 2 series (USRCCA and Summer Series).
  • We will follow all 2011 or 2012 USRCCA rules.
  • We will run 2.2 comp at all events scheduled. Sportsman and 1.9 will be run if 4 people are running it that day (those running these classes may have to step up and judge/score and build courses).
  • All Dates are tentative, they may change based on scheduling of large events or weather issues. Please remember to check here before a comp to make sure things are still planned and as posted.

USRCCA Series Schedule:
  • Saturday December 17th - Larry's Performance RC's
  • Saturday January 7th - Larry's Performance RC's
  • Saturday January 28th - Larry's Performance RC's
  • Saturday February 11th - Larry's Performance RC's
  • Saturday February 25th - Larry's Performance RC's
  • Saturday March 10th - Larry's Performance RC's
  • Saturday March 24th - Larry's Performance RC's
  • Sunday April 14th - Davisburg
  • Sunday April 28th - The Dog House (Lee's)
  • Sunday May 13th - Auburn Hills
  • Sunday May 27th - Flint (Greg's)
  • Sunday June 10th - Dexter
  • Sunday June 24th - Grand Blanc

Series will be 13 comps, 2 drops. Scored the same way as last year for series points.

MiRCa Summer Series Schedule:
  • Sunday July 15th - Davisburg
  • Sunday July 29th - Dexter
  • Sunday August 12th - The Dog House (Lee's)
  • Sunday August 26th - Auburn Hills

Series will be 4 comps, 1 drop. Scored the same way as last year for series points.

I'll work on flyers this week and get them posted here, as well as some for Larry's.

We will need help next year with judging, I will be stepping back this year from the amount I did last year, I got overly burnt out many times having to do it. Not that you guys don't step up; I just felt weird asking. This year I will be asking far more for help to let me work on my truck and have time to sit and chat.

I think Farmers idea is best for now. We'll pay in person at the first comp you attend. That way its all in order and such.

I'll let Farmer confirm/deny this idea.

Yes sir, this was all my fault . I'm not blaming anyone, because as I mentioned you guys always help when I ask, I just need to ask more to make things more fun for myself.

This should be a great season, I can't wait to start.

I have no problem with helping when ever I can, to judge or whatever, im just not fast on my feet with the math part of it.....never have been. Must be all the paint chips I ate when I was a kid.

Anyone going to be around this weekend?

Thinking about going to Larry's on Saturday and setting up a couple courses for practice.
Anyone interested?
