MiRCa points series comp #5 @ Larry's Saturday February 23rd

It's that time again Saturday February 23 @Larry's, comp will start at 10:00am.
Comp rigs only, we will be changing up our schedule a little to accommodate the scale side. So keep a eye on the schedule and I will also post up that info separately Hope for a great turnout! See everyone there. I will be doing a little rearranging the week before, so anyone who wants to help would be great. I know Bryce is game

Yep, it just seems about time to change things up, too many predictable lines and limitations based on where things are.

I was going to send my controller back to fut-aba to fix the gremlins in the throttle but I'm thinking I might need it before the comp.... Owell, there's always next time.

Jeff, have a good trip and enjoy. I have to admidt, I wish I could go out there with you. Always wanted to go out west. Maybe some day.

I'll be in for a comp and should be able to help with the re-config next weekend.
The gf will be out of town, so I get to do whatever I want.
Might even have my b4.2 ready. Haven't driven a buggy in a long time so it might be an impressive FAIL. LOL

Don't forget to bring some gloves! I might try to bring a big pry bar/something steel with me so we can move some of the big rocks around.

I have some ideas on where and how some of the big rocks could be placed in order to add a ton of new and challenging lines to the pile-o-rocks. My thoughts are to unbury some of the biggins (sitting on the floor not being used to their potential) and group them up into a few 3'+ tall piles using the littler rocks as filler under and around them. That way you can move a few little rocks to change the lines up completely and the bigger rocks and height wouldn't be lost while changing things up a bit. The other part of my thoughts are to rearrange the hill against the wall so there are more lines to get over the top instead of just a couple.

And it would open up a lot of course options if we could make a bridge from one side to the other nearest the door where there would be no elevation change.

Anyone else have some ideas?

I'll head up there on Saturday with the berg, maybe even the wraith depending on the weather and how things go between now and then.

You don't want one. In person, all of the areas it would need to be upgraded at are apparent and the bottom line is that the chassis is very 'light' and probably won't hold up to what we've come to expect out of axial cars. It's actually pretty disappointing considering how cool it is from an innovation standpoint.

I expect nothing from it, I mean my Wraith can't stay together because of terrible Axial engineering.

I don't expect much from anything made by either company really. Just have to keep spending like always to get it to do what I want.
