Not the most scale thing out there, but it is better than what a micro comes with factory

I also had a toyota body I ran for a while that looked a little more to scale. (but I'm a jeep guy, so I had to change, haha)

I know there's probably 20 of these in here by now.. But here's my shot at it. I've not got a great eye to detail like many of you. But this works well enough for my needs; achieves the scale size effect i think. ;)

Ended up going industrial Velcro for semi-perm mounts - stiff enough but gives a tad; took the bounce out from the rubber band mount initiall used.

Crawls pretty decent still despite the hard body weight -- i have lots of lead down and about the axles/etc !!! And i looks decent for a throw-together hack-job in an afternoon.

Some short vid - sorry the terrain is hopeless -- but its all i had to work with and needed to test its capability before permanent mounting. I hav some indoor "terrain" on the way ;)

1. Scale RC Losi Trail Trekker - Jeep Rubicon -- still crawls great - indoor test footage! - YouTube

The Suburban is only a static model but I have another TT on the way and plan to get the '57 on there as soon as I can.

Losi micro, metal weights on axles, 25 BB's per tire, carbon fiber chassis, aluminum tranny plate, custom links, custom steering rod, lower gears. Fun!

I got myself a micro trekker today... it came in pretty rough shape, and the servo was fried... so I improvised.
de-cased the ESC, re-did the gear mesh (it was HORRIBLE), temporarily modded on an OVERKILL SERVO TO END ALL OVERKILL SERVOS, tore all the default decals off and added my own, took a bunch of coils off the springs etc. etc. etc. I'm using an 800MAh 2S LiPo from my robitronic scalpel, it's the smallest LiPo I have. It isn't too bad, but I think I'm going to get a smaller one haha.
I have some pretty "large" plans for this thing, I want to make it really custom, and 100% my own
I plan on buying one of those DDT predator motors soon, I hate the stock motor...
bonus points for naming what vehicle the main silver accent decal is from on the side! (hint: it's from something relevant to this site)

SERVO... I couldn't imagine pumping more power through this little guy... I'm just WAITING for the BEC in the ESC to fry... it'll give me an excuse to do something else!
The power switch is just being used as a spacer to attach the servo to the other side of the mount with more servo tape... I hate switches on my ESC's.

taken later, re-located ESC and battery

This was based off a design I wanted to try that would afford maximum center clearance. It worked, but I'd change it up a bit if I did it again by lowering the motor and transfer case a bit more, but keeping it higher than normal... a compromise between this and standard chassis.
