Default 1/20 zr2 s10

I picked up this Losi Micro on monday to do my first scale build with. I'm using a Lindberg 1/20 ZR2 kit, I'll be using neodymium magnets to mount the body. This is where I've gotten so far.

Cutting off excess, I saved the shock mounts so that I can try to re-use them.

Finished up with the Dremel.

Test fitting stuff, this is going to have a 5.5"-5.75" wheelbase

Gluing the Losi chassis in place with epoxy theres an 1/8th" gap on either side so I dont know how well this will work lol.

Right now I'm waiting for the epoxy to cure so I can see how strong its going to be. Tomorrow I need to stop by the hobby shop to get some paint and ball ends so that I can hopefully get the suspension setup and get started painting.

The epoxy is cured, it worked great. I brought the chassis and axles with me to work today, I'm going to try and extend my drive shafts at lunch.
Does anyone know what diameter hole micro-t ball ends have?

hey man nice start, for ball ends micro t will work, but i used team associated rc18t ball ends, cheaper than a pack of micro T ones and you get more in a pack.

good luck w/ the build

The LHS didn't have any in stock so I ordered the micro-t ones at lunch, but since I'm waiting for them my suspension is at a stand still so I'm going to work on paint tonight. Tomorrow I'll call and see if they have the rc18t ones, thanks!

Here's what I got done last night, not a lot.

Marking the body up for the dremel.

I opened the fenders up a bit for the tires, the zr2 fender flares will cover them. I also trimmed the rear corners of the box a bit.

This color is black metallic, I'll be adding another color to the body later.

This is where I'm at right now, I'd like to get the body masked and finished tonight but if my buddy shows up we will probably work on my indoor crawler course.

I ordered 12 more rolls of plaster cloth today! I can't wait for everything to show up so I can get my scaler and course finished.
