Default Attaching a scale body?

So while at the Wal-Mart today I picked up a 1:24 scale New Bright Land Rover rc for 10 bucks. The wheel base is a bit off but not to terrible a little cutting and it will look fine. I was wanting to attach it to the stock mounting posts but the body is too wide. I was wondering how people attach their scale bodies to their Micros without the scale frame?

Thanks!

I used strong magnets on mine- scroll down to post #9:
'89 Chevy Micro

You'd have to set up yours differently, of course, but magnets seem to be pretty commonly used for the Micro's.

That looks like a pretty easy quick little way to attach the body. Did you glue the tube to the plastic and then attach the velcro to both sides for easy removal of the body?

No glue, because in case you want to put the comp body back on. if you are worried about the tubing coming off the stock body mounts then poke tiny holes in the tube and insert a body pin holding the tube to stock body posts

and if you meen did i glue the plastic pieces with the holes to the fuel tubing the answer is no. the tube fits into the holes and does not shift unless you step on the body or it falls off a cliff

Ok I was wondering how the tubing stayed in place. So it's just friction and gravity that keep it in place very good. Thanks for the tip!
