| time to uprade axles or?
well i have had nothing but good luck with my losi micro axles but last night i got it in a bind and on the front axle in the middle where the cases bolt together and it split im not sure if anyone else has had the problem or if its just mine but anyhow ive had my eye on the mini t-rex axles the gear ratio on them are 2.53:1 and ive searched but didnt see the ratio for the micro's axle maybe just not searching the right words im not sure. but i was wondering if they would be a good upgrade?

being all metal they are plenty strong, but you will need to build some link and shock mounts. and they are a little wider but in many cases thats a good thing. though for the $100+ its going to cost you. you could easily buy losi parts and upgrades. depends on what you are looking for. also dont forget with no worm gear you may need an ESC with a better brake.. Im not sure on that one |

That micro esc has no drag brake whatsoever I know cause it ran my mini 1/18 crawler for a while but I took it out because it has no drag brake. Also on that broken axle did you take out that lower screw and grind off the nub? I did on my 2 micros and I was always worried it would break there. Got any carnage pics of the breakage? |
