I totally agree, Norm. And no matter what micro (1/24) RC I've owned, and no matter how well I've set it up, it still felt like a toy..

I'd like to see what HPI is doing with its new 1:8 gasoline product..
A 1:8 gasoline-powered scaler would be incredible!

They are toys.

I'm not too concerened with Axial building a small scale crawler. I like my Losi Micro's just fine, & prolly wouldn't change horses.

I quite like Yokomo's MiniQLO. good quality, just a little underpowered without the LIPO

I'd buy one for sure! and pay alot too for a genuinely scale looking pickup or jeep from Axial that also was durable and could craw a bit too -- MICRO size.

They need to make some tiny lexan bodies that look like a scale truck or jeep

A mini axial would be cool for crawling around the house

As badass as it would be, I don't see it happening. A 1/18th axial would be more likely in my opinion.

For the size and price, the Losi Micro wasn't bad...but I'd be willing to pay a little more for something the same size that was a truly viable stock crawler. Heck, even if it was awesome out of the box, most of us would still mod it.

I agree. the market is there even if not as big as the 1/10. it just has to be done well. if done by axial it will likely be made how we would want it and being axial it would have some aftermarket support which will help it take off. to be honest if it performed better than the Mc4x4 trekker and was more scale I think it would do very well
