| '80 Ford Bronco on a Trail Trekker
Picked up the 1/24 Monogram kit on Saturday, turned out pretty sweet. Sorry for the crappy IPhone pic, I'll try and get some better ones tomorrow. ~Chip |

The floor pan hooks under the front shock mounts and the rear body posts go through the bed. ~Chip |

Nice ride! How close is the wheel base on the trekker in comparison to the wheel base of the bronco?

It's pretty close, the trekker is maybe 1/4"" too long. I'll make sure to get some side shots today.

Thanks, normally I spend more time on models but I knew this one wasn't going to sit on a shelf. First time one of my models will move under it's own power. Smokem- got pics? |

| Re: '80 Ford Bronco on a Trail Trekker Just got a Trail Trekker like 3 months ago on a whim just for something to play with inside. First crawler, and I was skeptical. I almost went with the Micro SCT. But man, I'm obsessed with this thing, I had no idea crawlers could be so fun! But what really got me stoked was this forum and all of the sweet scalers you guys have built. I had to make one myself, and that's what I did. I just picked up the 80' Bronco at the hobby shop and some deep pearlesent purple paint. It is obviously be my first scaler project. What do you all think? Most of all Thanks for the Inspiration. I have been exposed to a whole new world ,1/24 scale. Love it- Thanks Y'all! Last edited by TekmoCrawl; 06-27-2012 at 06:07 PM. |

Both of those trucks are beautiful. I'm gonna be picking up a Trekker in the near future and I can see this forum is gonna cost me some time and money. I will be getting back into this RC thing for the first time since I bought a JRX2 (I think it was a JRX2) back when Losi was just getting started.
