Default Nissan pathfinder

Im modeling this build after my 1/1 pathy

I picked up a little losi micro crawler off craigslist for $30

.

ARE YOU READY?????????????????

ARE YOU SURE??????

OK THEN!!!!!

Some Sexy Flexy

I picked this up from ebay

Already black i plan on making the green one a still model in a desert scene crawling some rocks.
I made some tranny brackets that mount in the pre existing holes of the model and tranny. The screws are just for mock up

The leaf mounts dont hang down that low

You can see here with the trans brackets i made the trans sits pretty low in the body

I got this little guy for free at the hobby shop

Once i get all the stuff thats hanging up it will sit a bit lower and look more scale.

Starting to come together i also got the steering servo mounted just have to make the steering linkages.

That body fits you alot better than the yota one. Looks really cool does it fit in the bed of the hilux?

That is a great start. Looks killer and you did a good job on hiding the hangers for the leafs.

Thanks a lot guys this little guy is a pain to work on. All these little parts. But I made some steering linkages out of tig rod and washers and they seem to do the trick. I also extended my drive shafts with stock shafts. Then made some shock mounts for the front. Not sure yet if I'm gonna need them for the rear or not. I did drive it the other day and what a blast it was. The wheels kept coming off the rims but other then that its awsome and Damn capable. I can't get over the stuff it crawled over. Can't wait to get it all finished up. Gonna add tire carrier maybe a roof rack and some scale goodies for it. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow of its current state.

Thanks man. I brought it home Friday night and decided to work on it a bit. Well I ran out of Chrome paint so went and bought more but this new stuff doesn't have a Chrome finish to it. It's just silver and my bumpers now loom like shit. Owell I might sand them down but there so tiny I'm not sure if I could make them look better if I where to add another coat of Chrome paint. And with as tiny as this little truck is my interior won't be much due to the size of the electronics and tranny so I blacked out the glass. After all my truck has limo tint. Pics coming soon.

Thank you. There fun to build but can be a pain in the ass. Just take your time and you will get it. When I get stuck on something I just put it in my tool box at work and let it sit till I come up with a idea.

Hey guys i have some videos for you of the micro pathy mudding lol. The frist few vids was its first outing and real test run so it wasnt performing so good. I relised i had to add more weight to it becuase it was so light and it helps the susp move and flex better plus it makes the tires grip better. I also had to trim some of the wheel wells and some stuff hanging down on the under carriage. I still have some issues with the sterring setup up but its working better then before.

It did at first It was really bad where when it flexed out the passenger side, (Passenger side stuffed in the well and driver side hanging down) it would cuase the wheels to turn hard right (passenger side) and the servo wasnt strong enuff to straighten them up. But if it did have the power then it would have pulled the driver front side down as the tires straightend. But what you cant really see in the pics is where the steering linkage connects to the servo arm i welded a small washer to the end of it. After playing around with the front linkage and figuring out the bends to get the most steering out of it i was able to back the screw out of the servo arm and it gives me enuff play so that there isnt any bump steer.
