Default Ambush tire options

I want something that would do better on dirt/ clay as thats my primary driving surface. The stock tires work fine but I want something different. I was looking at the rc4wd Interco Super Swamper TSL tires but if you have a better suggestion let me know.

To get a better idea

the orange is the routes I've made, some areas should get grass later

I've been thinking about getting the rok lox cause they are slightly smaller and wider, they will fit my build better.

That's what I used, the Rok Lox. Because for some reason they are actually the exact same tread as the 1:10 Super Swampers which I have on my scx10.

Notice any difference running the rc4wd wheels? It's the only thing holding me back from ordering tires. I want new wheels and they are out of stock

The weight of them is very noticeable. It for sure helps the suspension work and keep the wheels on the ground.

I added some stick on wheel weights to get some weight up front.

1/2oz on the battery tray and 1/4 on the back of the servo

Weight in the wheels is going to help the suspension articulate better. I'd grab up some RC4WD tires, and some of Fungi's wheels, then add some weight. I like to use a combo of brass Losi wheel weights, and lead tape. The lead tape is 1/4" wide, and is made for tennis players to weight their rackets. It's easy, and it works.

I also have wheel weights on the servo and both bumpers. Adding weight to the wheels is for unsprung weight. It will pull down on the suspension when the tires are trying to lift off the ground. And it adds weight to the lowest point on the truck.

That looks like a great solution above with the lead tape. I have never seen that stuff before.

Yea I know but I don't run this one enough and really want a different wheel before I put in the work.
