Nice vids. Looks like yours doesn't pulse. Did you do anything to fix the pulsing, or just lucky?

Thank you, soze.
I don't know what pulsing is.
After finished assembly, I found deformation on front & rear axle. Also the model not running smooth. I fix it with adjusting the rod like manual book says. I also adding sheet of tin on the all 4 wheels. Also adding on the front (servo place on chassis).
I installed the steering servo on axle.
For the shock, i extend the length of the shaft by changing the original with mini servo long screw. Added about 3mm longer.

Many adjustment needed. But for now, i enjoying running this model first.

Can you explain that part?

Basically the pulsing I'm talking about is that the truck moves in a very jerky motion. The rotation of the axles weren't very smooth, so that the car when driven went goooooo..gg...goooooo..gg...go

Oh, yes. I found the pulse problem also. The problem worst when i extended the shock. In the manual said that the angle of the axle can cause it. I adjust the rod many times, until the 4 wheel straight with the chassis. Also the angle of the axle. Now it run good with minimal of pulsing effect.

Where you put your servo?
At first, i mount the servo on the chassis. But i see the problem when installing servo on the chassis. When the the shock depress, the front wheels turn to one side. Also when i turn to full left or right, the axle moves. The problem gone when i install the servo on axle.

I was looking at a few different bodies. One in particular is an Ertl wrecker that similar to the one in the Cars movie/cartoon. I just need to get some measurements before I get into it.

That looks like it. The one I was fondling wasn't diecast though. It was plastic and a pull back type toy. The hook was on a long elastic cord.

Plastic is better than metal, though.
