Much the same as the FTX on the post blow but licenced tyres and sweet truggy style tray. https://www.horizonhobby.com/horizon...rtr-ecx00017t1 Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk |

I was liking on the FTX for the price really. But this one will likely end up in my stable. It has the potential for the scale-static model bodies for sure. I also wonder how close the axles are to the Losi and are they compatible with Fungi's 3D chassis? Since the LMc and Trekkers have dried up. |

Well the important stuff is the same, like the Axles, transmission, chassis and the likely crappy electronics. The body on the FTX is a one piece full body instead of the truggy cage and the ecx has better looking tires. Unless there was a significant price difference or something we aren't aware of I'd prefer the ecx (something I'd never thought I'd say) haha Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk |

| Re: ECX barrage 1/24 scale crawler Correct. That was stated in the FTX thread, too. If the drivetrain will work with little modifications in Fungi's chassis' then the FTX would be the obvious candidate since it's cheaper. With the scale tires and truggy good looks, the ECX would be the choice for a scaler. |

That ECX body could with a little skill be converted to something mimicking a 84-88 Toyota Truck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The body very much reminds me of the Nissan Patrol GQ ute which is a bit of a hero truck here in Australia. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk |

To me it's definitely a 90s Toyota, just not with accurate lines. The headlights, turn signals, hood bump, door handles are unmistakable for a 90s Toyota. Though the fender flares are off and it's a bit square, but it's not like it's officially licensed Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk |

Yeah I agree. I'm just thinking that 80s look because of how close it is to my SCX10 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have wanted to get a mini crawler for a while because fining 1/20-1/24th scale models is pretty easy. Looking at the specs from HH’s website this would almost be a PERFECT fit. https://www.hobbylinc.com/revell-mon...4-scale-854360 7 13/16” length 3 15/16” width -M |

$100 bucks and waterproof? Definitely on the interested list, the Pro-line Ambush bodies will fit plus the endless Revell truck bodies? Tire/wheel options are limited but glad there are options and companies like PL putting forth some effort. Indoor crawling fun for sure. Has anyone pre-ordered?

Showing in stock at RC Planet in both colors. I'm so close to pulling the trigger but trying to convince my fiancee is another story... especially since I want a 1/10 scale truck as well. |
