PSA : CR24 beadlock wheels will not work with SCX24 tires

So I decided to order a bunch of beadlock wheels and stock tires for the scx24 with the idea to experiment with some steel bb's for added weight.

Well "close enough" isn't good enough and the beadlocks are just a hair too small for the tires.

Looks like this idea was a bust

Then those are same size as ECX and RGT wheels. Which are exactly that size too.

I feel your pain. Same thing happened to me with the RPP wheels. I cant use them with the wheels I wanted too. I can if I glue them. But they still look a tad too big and will most likely not spin true.

I posted about the fitment somewhere. The wheels are smaller than standard 1.0 and are ECX Barrage sized. Luckily the CR-24 beadlocks are worth keeping for CR-24 Falken Wildpeak MTs, or RGT/FTX swampers.

The SCX24 Nittos don't fit in my Losi hot racing beadlocks either.

While we're on the subject, the narrow SCX24 machete wheels don't seem to fit any 1.0 tires other than stock, but oddly fit great with the smaller tires from the CR-24 or RGT swampers stretched over them.
