ECX barrage the good, the bad, and the ugly?

Just like the title implies, what is everyones thoughts on the barrage, as I have the opportunity to get one for a good deal. Is it worth getting involved in a new platform? Thanks.

Thats the best one out of the clones to buy because of its low gearing.


You can also check out the HBX 2098B. That has 4WS and seems to work good out of the box. You are limited to 5 wire servos. But who cares. you can change that out if you really wanted too.

Or if you got the money. Just get an RC4WD gelande 1/18th. Those just kick ass all around in my opinion. I love mine more than the barrage or HBX myself.

But Id hard pass on the ECX barrage. Its geared for a small kid to drive in circles. It has to power over things. Not crawl over them if you know what I mean.
