Anybody ever run flexblades? I ordered a set from Mofo Rc.

Haven’t run flex blades specifically, but I tried a different style from a maker in the IG micro community. I found that 3D printed parts don’t last very long, broke several even the replacements I was offered. Same person now offers them in lasercut carbon fiber, which should be much more durable. That said, I’m not convinced that max articulation is always better. Remember that the ‘blades won’t have any damping or spring pressure when they’re activated. I had issues with the wheel dropping too far and getting bound up in cracks/holes in my stacked-rock home course. I can run the same lines no problem without the blades, just stock shocks with lay-down upper mounts. YMMV |
