Those are made for the Spektrum transmitters, it's not compatible with the stock transmitter. Also according to the measurements listed It's almost twice as big as the stock setup Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk Last edited by spoo76; 05-18-2020 at 05:29 AM. |

I’m using the DX6R for my other cars & trucks, so that’s not a problem. It’s the same with as the stock esc. Your correct it is twice the height and almost twice the length. I’m going to need to fab a mount so it sits a little more foreword and as close to the frame rails as possible. The separate leads for the lights will allow me to add tail lights and turn them on/off. Also setting endpoints for the servos and adjusting the rear steering would be nice. If I can’t get it to fit I’ll put it in one of my other trucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |

Ahh, well if you already have the transmitter I don't see any reason you can make it work. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk |

I wonder if this would bind with any Spektrum TX. If you remove the housing I’d imagine it would be a lot smaller. I’ve gravitated towards a dehoused conventional Rx with some large heat shrink on it and then use the little 10a ESC. The last ESC I actually shortened the 3 wire Rx lead at the board and it worked well. Then desolder the switch and put a blob of solder across the board where it was. |

So it came in today. Once I get the battery adapter I’m going to install it. Not as big as I thought. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not much bigger. I would try to swap the battery and ESC locations if possible. Putting the battery weight more forward.

A little tight but it’s done and works perfect. I now have front steer, rear steer, crab steer & 4 wheel steer. All with a touch of a button on my DX5 Rugged. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
