RC4WD Scrambler tires and stock Axial wheels

These tires seem a bit larger than 1.0" and would be a pretty sloppy fit onto those stock wheels. Anyone successfully done this yet?

Inside diameter shpuld be fine. Videos prove them to work well.

The tires are 1.0"
the Axial wheels are slightly smaller than the standard even though they claim 1.0"

I got them mounted up today and it wasn't too bad but did require a bit more care. Just weird though because the Wrangler MT/R's seemed a little closer to the "right" diameter. Maybe those tires just run a little small too.
