I found a couple places selling screw kits, but I can't find the tiny ball studs (for the steering links, shocks, etc) anywhere. Does anyone know where to source some? Do you guys have a go-to hardware kit for your micros and minis? |

For the SCX24 the best source I've found for the $$$ is to buy the shock set. You get 8 ball studs.

McMaster is usually my go-to for hardware. They have 1.4mm stuff but it's crazy expensive; $1 per screw in some cases! They also don't have ball studs that small. Sounds like buying OEM is the best bet right now. Thanks for the insight. | |

| Re: Micro Hardware Nice. I did a quick search but didn't find an assortment. Do you have a link? Looks like HR offers a decent 1.4mm screw set. I'm pondering picking up one of these: https://www.amainhobbies.com/hot-rac...14mss/p1224218 |

No assortment packs from uxcell. I bought several bags of 20-50 bolts, washers, or nuts. The bolts in 3-4 different lengths. Total cost was still under $15. I needed to poke through the search results and double check they are actually the correct size. Also, get a proper 1.3mm wrench. I tried a .05” (1.27mm) I had and stripped a couple of bolt heads. Solid info. Thanks shiggy. Good to know about the .050” driver failing you, too. I’m using a machined .050” tool at the moment and it even seems snug at times. I may pick up a proper 1.3mm wrench just for the sake of SI purity. |

| Re: Micro Hardware I have both a MIP 1.3mm & a .050" the 1.3mm seems a little to big I get a much better fit with the .050" (1.27mm) sometimes you have to wiggle the .050" to get a good tight fit.
