Default Greatscott Enduro 24

Wasn't interested in these trucks until an itch suddenly hit me.

What I would like to try to do is to fit up this 1:24 static model body to the E24 chassis to make a micro hard body build.

If I get this to look right at all I'll likely have to design another bed for it. The '81 F150 is ok, but I grew up with a '78 step-side, and it would be cool to reproduce it.

With all of the projects I have going, along with school, this will be a project for down the road. But, in the mean time I am modifying the truck as is.

I will likely kick the stock electronics to the curb, and throw in a HW1060 and a Spektrum 3-ch SR315 RX.

It does need some lights though, the ones in the bumper are OK, but I don't like the way they brighten with speed. Also, the grill needs some work as well. So, I drew this up and going to print it tomorrow to see how it looks.

Here is the first iteration of the a front grill. It accepts two 5mm LEDs. I am not sure if I like this color, might try printing it in both black and while filament.

I think I am done with this for now.

Outside...
I designed and printed a roll bar and front grill.

Inside...
I gutted the stock ESC/RX and installed a Spectrum 3 channel RX and HW1060 ESC. The ESC is sitting on an electronics tray I designed and printed.

The inside is pretty cramped, but everything fits, and the lid goes on without a problem.

Looks great!

Wow, I didn't think all that would fit under the body! Glad to see you made it all fit. Nice ESC tray too! I'm definitely going to keep this in mind when I pick up one of these little Enduro's!

Good looking grill and roll bar too!

Thanks for sharing the file!

Interested in hearing how it does with the new electronics!
