Default Leftovers

Had a gas building up the C10, but a few parts leftover. So enter a Raptor frame. Still piecing it together .

Now I suppose I need to finish the C10

Thanks, but it’s a real PITA, if you look the Body/frame uses only the link screws to mount. Major pain to assemble. I mounted my Komodo in it and it doesn’t clear the hood panel , and the grill is getting hit by the servo, but a diamond blade will solve that.

Despite the issues that's still an absolutely cool looking conversion. I never see them built... haven't even seen videos. But with those shocks/ tires/ wheels, it appears very capable. Hope you can get it set up to where you're satisfied with everything.

I've got the stock plastic axles and just had to give up on a pair of brass knuckles because they would start to bind when full turn left/ right. Installed correctly and they have a longer insert to keep pressure off the axle housing. They appear decent and correct geometry. But only able to turn left/ right maybe 3/4 of the way from full lock. Afterwards 050 motor is pretty warm. Any advice how to get more steering with less bind. No wheel contact so that's good, axle-shafts are aftermarket but don't seem to be the issue, bearings are good/ seated. Samix steering link/ Emax servo. Thanks much if you've got a solution. I hate using the stock plastic knuckles.

Default Leftovers

I bought generic brass knuckles, must be lucky, fit perfectly with no binding.
I can honestly say I’ve done more trimming on this build than any of my 1/10 builds. My biggest worry is snapping a screw, or screws backing out, too small to loctite and remove, and I don’t own a tap that small.
What this is is solid…..
Now the issue is where are the electronics going, lizard esc and battery fit, it’s the huge rx thats a monster space wise
