| Fxc24 any good?
I may have missed it, but are fcx24 any good? I'm not much for the high speed stuff, my trx4 is locked in low speed. But I like the little crawlers. I already ordered one. So I'm committed, just curious what everybody else thought. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk |

See here: New FMS 1/24 power wagon The scale detail is impressive, and the combination of portal axles and a 2-speed transmission really makes the performance stand out. Treal already makes a ton of upgrades - over $225 worth! Last edited by durok; 08-27-2022 at 10:03 PM. Reason: spelling! |

Best fun I’ve had OOB…… only complaint is how the body clips on…. It’s awkward. Easy paint detailing Hang up and Drive |

It's actually 1/18 scale or close to it. The cab matches the dimensions of the FMS Atlas 6x6 which is advertised as 1/18. Lots of fans of the FCX24 though. Have heard those complaints about the body attachment and battery access, which in itself is odd because FMS-Rochobby usually has the battery under an opening hood which they have abandoned for this model. I'd build a bed/cargo area and a battery box disguised as a fuel tank and put it behind the cab, maybe. |

I like the idea of a bit more speed but also capable of crawling well. This one seems to check both boxes. The only thing I would like to see is if it is possible to put a more recent pickup truck body on it. Perhaps a bit challenging due to the design but have yet seen anything like that at this point. The FCX axles and motor/gearbox are available as spare parts from FairRC and FMShobby and no doubt others. Best to take advantage of Labor Day sales.. .

VERY GOOD TRUCK!!! Quality all around. The body may be a bit larger than some but this truck and it’s portals etc is absolutely 1/24 scale.

transmission may be a little harder as the mount for the fcx one is kind of odd
