Default I Had to get a Bronco .

Of course I didn’t really have to get one but why not . I built the wife a JLU hardbody that looks like her daily driver and I’m a Bronco fan so I figure the Bronco / Jeep rivalry could be fun .
I purchased it today , installed some Mofo brass front links and 43mm shocks I had in the parts box .
I also used the stock JLU front bumper mounts left over from her build to close the gap in the bumper / grill . It worked well and I was able to lower the front body mount instead of raising it with the Bronco bumper flip.
I’m trying out stock tires from my AX24 at the moment , they seem to fit the front wheel well ok but rub in the rear .
I plugged the bumper lights into channel 3 so I could turn them off , on or flash .

Amazon should be dropping off some Injora brass , steering link , skid plate , diff covers , front knuckles and hex extensions today . This thing rolls over just in grass at the moment . So far the wife’s JLU has it beat .

Some serious grass you got Let me know how that tire size works out on the Bronco ... I find 56mm to be the maximum size I can fit without trimming the body or lifting it stupid high.

I think I’m going with the Injora 58mm x 24mm all terrains for the width , I was looking at LGRP 57mm x 20mm Trench Kings but I think wider is better for the Bronco .
Wheels are most likely going to be Injora black stamped steel with the 3.7 neg. offset and brass weights .

Today I put the stock tires back on and did a ramp test , it can climb 33 degrees .

I have the same wheels (brass rings also) that are waiting on a set of 54x19mm with dual stage foams. I like the current wheel/tire setup I have, just wana test this other combo myself.

My Bronco max's out about 53 degrees which I'm good with ... also manages about 50 degrees on the side Don't expect to get much more out of it and really don't think I want more

Let me know how those tires work out when you get them

I ended up getting the Swamp Stompers in the same size . The tread looks gnarlier .

I installed the tires and wheels today . I kept the brass wheel inserts front and rear , the wheels came vented from Injora which was the first time I have seen them vented out of the box . The 58mm x 24mm tires rubbed so I went back to the factory Bronco bumper bracket flip and mounted the shocks to the body post screw holes in the front to level it out .

After the wheels and tires my climb angle increased to 37 degrees . I have seen videos on YouTube where the bronco did climbs in the mid 40 degrees range out of the box .

I found playing with the suspension helped me a lot, after I had the weight distribution where I wanted it that is. I like to have a fair bit of sag with slightly more at the front than the rear, then dial it in with the preload.

I still think 56mms are the max you can fit on the Bronco without body trimming. I'm now trying out a set of 54mm S5 tires with some cheap dual stage foams ... working well so far I will add that I put on a lighter set of wheels (rig is 80g lighter now) and noticed I've lost about 1 degree in incline but still managed 51.7 deg ... checked just now

I'd first look at your ride height and shock setup to gain more incline

I personally think you have to much ride height and that it's affecting your incline too. I think I'd try lowering the ride height and adding spring rate to keep the tire from rubbing. Preload would probably help with that.

I’m waiting on a brass skid plate and some other brass goodies to arrive two days ago . I’m not expecting any super incline numbers with this one , just better than stock . I want to keep the roof rack and spare tire and might add a high lift Jack and shovel to the spare tire . The front tires don’t rub in the photo above . The rear does but I haven’t adjusted the rear shocks yet.

I relocated the rear shocks back to the factory position and adjusted the preload .
Gained 3 degrees on the incline so it does 40 deg. now but lost some of the rear droop .

The package came from CA the day after I ordered , sat in CT for a week , then it went to Amazon facility in the town I work in yesterday , then today it said it was undeliverable with refund in process .

When I confirm the refund I will reorder , I think.

Winter is almost over . A Injora package is on the way from China . Can’t get everything on Amazon, it’s cheaper but a longer wait .

What parts are you waiting on? How's the Bronco doing?
