Default SCX24 Channel 1

What would cause Channel 1 to be reversed no matter if the transmitter is set to “N” or “R”. Example when I pull the trigger on the transmitter the truck goes into reverse on either setting.

Channel 1 is the steering channel. Easy way to remember is 1 to turn and 2 to burn.
You can flip the motor wires and your problem will be solved.

You could unsolder them at the motor side and flip then re solder. If thats not a good option for you on the plug from the motor to the esc/rx unit are tabs that you can pry up and remove the pins then flip and push the pins back into the plug.

My scx24 V2 was giving me problems like the Truck was possessed . I constantly had to adjust the throttle trim , then one day it was going back and forth and turning by itself . I had the Bronco for a week . Replaced the AA batteries that came with it and the exorcism was complete.

Good advice! I read somewhere that some people have had their batteries leaking. That would explain this crazy behavior.

I have also seen servo twitch due to low transmitter batteries.
