Default Memorial weekend fun run

I know some people talked about a GTG this coming Sunday 5-25-08
Not sure if people remembered that it's Memorial Day weekend or not?
But I'm staying in town, and avoiding the cabin rush.
Anyone else around town this weekend, and up for a Sun GTG?

Where are you suggesting Troy? Taylors, Burnsville, Stillwater, Minnehopeless?

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make this one either-I get to dress up as a groomsman on Saturday. I suppose it will depend on how trashed I get Sat night.

In Burnsville we crawl near the Cub Foods on Co Rd 42.
Sometimes in bad weather, under the I-35W bridge off of Blackdog Rd.

I was thinking maybe Taylors, but if no one is interested, I'll probably just go to the Howl Krawl spot, and save some gas. I can run scalers there as well as comp 2.2's.

.05pimp, don't tell me besides a problem with Monster energy drinks that you have a problem with cocktails as well? I guess I'll have to have you over you might be lots of fun at happy hour.

Honestly, I don't drink very often anymore. Ever since Christmas of 2002...

I'll be skipping any outtings this weekend, I am going to be working on some stuff this weekend. I have to pull the transmission out of my 1:1 FJ40, and start tearing it down. I just ordered a rebuild kit for it, which will be here Tuesday. And I need to finish rebuilding the transfer case on it, just need to clean up a few more parts tonight, and toss things back together.

Also I would like to do some more work on my scale FJ40. I need to cut the floor pan again, and move the entire firewall forward about 1/4", once thats done I can finally weld up the roll cage for it. Then I have a couple castle BECs to install, so I have enough to keep me busy this weekend

Yeah I'm probably down for the weekend myself I was hoping to have some new tires and foams for some testing of some of the newer tires but no show as of today and Sunday looks questionable :-(

Maybe I can get the .05pimp over for some drinks and some BBQ it sounds like he can be a lot of fun at about .80 and then throw in a couple of Monster drinks.

And the parts I was going to pick up Tuesday, actually came in today. So I just picked up my tranny rebuild kit on lunch break

Since it doesn't look like there's much interest, I don't think I'll go all the way to Taylors, but I will be at the Howl Krawl spot at the river on Sunday testing the new Panther Cougars, Proline Hammers, Flat Irons & Badlands.

It's a great spot for 2.2 practice, and awesome for scaler running as well.
There is also a perfect place to test different tires, and set-ups.
