Ricks Hobby Farm is located about 3 miles South of New Richmond, WI on Hwy 64. There is a race track, flying field and pond for boats and float planes. Rick has given the go ahead to build a crawling course, but we would need help and input from you guys if this is to happen. Jerry P. and I are the only two locals at Ricks that crawl, and dont know exactly how the best way to lay out a course would be, we are both pretty new at this. Rick has some ideas he wants to see, but other than that we are on our own. He even said he would buy whatever kind of rock we need, although I would like to not see him spend any money on the idea. Rick's is free to use, just people coming out makes him happy. It is open to the public 7 days a week, from 10am to sunset. Here is a link to the web site: www.freedomfieldrc.com If you like the idea and are willing to help, let me know. If you have any questions, just ask. |

I've been to busy to offer up my help.... Now that the crawl is over I need to scrap some metal thats taking up space in the yard and do some cleaning. Once thats handled, I need to work on the land cruiser again, not sure if I will have any time this summer with the way things have been.

What ever you do don't make one of those little rock pile courses with little basket ball sized rocks they suck. You need big ass rocks and soil put the little rocks down each side of the driveway for decoration. Last edited by Stormin2u; 08-11-2008 at 09:18 PM. |
