Default Losi spec class?

Looks like the new losi is going to be a 1/18th scale 1.9er rig, rtr with spectrum for a street price of $240

I think this would make for a sweet spec class, running stock everything, including the battery setup. They should be out around August, so maybe we can run a spec class for our last few comps of the year?

If you buy one, can we run yours?

I don't know If I had one I think I wouldn't be able to resist ripping it apart. I mean honestly how many of us built the TLT's up stock.

On the flip side I think it would be a fun class. As long as the rules are not to strict or the rig isn't allowed much of any change. It would be more a drivers and budget class then anything else.

I'm open to it, if we get enough people buying them.
Might be a supplement for our low Super numbers.
But, I'd also like to see more Supers out this next series

I think this is a great way to bring rock crawling to the masses, however it's durability and true capabilities are yet to be proven.

What am I saying; slow down on the spec class talk, the AX-10 rtr would be a better choice considering the rock formation we are using.

Just my 2 cents (sorry tjb).

Spec class's are great but I dont think Ive ever seen one last. People always start bending the rules and buy the end of the first season its not a spec class anymore, lol.

The Axial spec class never worked, but I think the losi has a chance being that it comes with the electronics as well. I know it may not last, but there is always the possibility of a 1.9 class with a 9 or 10" wheel base limit? I have been talking to JIA who got his hands on one for a review, and he said it was a blast. His biggest complaint was the high battery mount, so he put some weight in the wheels.

I know I am getting one for sure... and maybe after our season is finished I'll build a tuber for it?

I'm thinking more like Mnster, I want to put a 7T puller and a 3c lipo in the dam thing for all out 1.9 class.

Truth be told I would rather see the development of scale classes 1.9-2.2 myself. This seems like a much more injoyable and practical effort as most of us have or are building scalers.
