| The Thrill On The Hill MNRCRC's Spring 09 finals This is the Spring/Summer finals guys/gals, expect some tougher then normal courses Where: Taylors Falls Mn What time: Sign-in, Drivers meeting and tech inspection starts at 9:00am sharp. Course building at 9:30 First truck through the gates at 10:00am sharp. 3 classes, Super, 2.2, and 1.9 Directions, and Pic's of the comp area can be seen here: www.MN-RCRC.com A couple of notes for any new people attending. MNRCRC competitions are held in a MN State Park, as such, a park parking permit is required, since we crawl at Interstate State Park often, (Taylors Falls) it's more economical to purchase a yearly sticker, good for all MN State Parks. Daily stickers are also available. A note to all attending! New this year are running fees/club dues of $20 per year, or $2.00 per comp, due at the Start of the season, or at each comp. Also, With the possible larger numbers for the MNRCRC competitions this season, we're going to have to be even more conscientious of our surroundings. I would like to suggest since we are guests in the Park, like so many others, there to enjoy the surroundings, that everyone pit back at their car/truck, and bring only the truck/s if you run 2 classes, and your radio, and any tools you can carry on person. This should help unclutter the area for other visitors, and hopefully, help keep us from getting kicked out. Along with the club gear bag, we'll have an iced cooler for anyone that has refreshments. We'll be counting on everyones cooperation for this. Hope to see you there! As always, good luck to all competitors |

I moved a couple people around for this one. Let me know if there's any issues.

Here's a break-down of the standings leading into the finals. In the 1.9 class, 1st place is still up for grabs, but congratulations are in order as Joe has secured a spot at the 2009 USRCCA Nationals. It's also possible for Josh to sneak into the top 2 with a great score if Baller slips up. The 2.2 class is a bit more interesting. Casey is locked in the top 2. Congratulations to Casey for locking his invite to the 2009 USRCCA Nationals. But Gary can still take the 1st spot away from Casey. Doing the math, the second spot is up for grabs for everyone in the top 5! The supers are a little more spread out. But again by doing the math, First place is open for Jerry Sr. and Gary to snatch away from Jerry Jr. Technically, with everyone's throw out score being so high no one has locked up any invites yet. Sounds like fun. I think the mini may be on the auction block after Sunday. Depends if I become unemployed by the end of the week.

New guy here, thinking of entering the 1.9 class on Sunday, can anyone recommend what is a good tire to use on the TF rocks? I have some flatirons in G8 compound, and the stock Losi tread, in blue compound, might try to find something else before Sunday if need be... Thanks, JEFF

I ran the flat irons on my 1.9 in the first comp, they kept me from pulling the line I needed on a few gates. I ended up switching to the blue claws, and haven't looked back once |
