|  thinking about crawling in duluth
looking to do some crawling this weekend up the shore a bit...thinking sat. or sun.... whichever day is nicer.... any body in the area interested? i got like 3 of my friends that want to get out and play...

I am in the area. Let me know what day you are thinking. are you thinking Comp crawling or scaler? I only have Comp rig. Weather looks like rain up here Sat and Sun. Clearing Monday so not sure if any time will work.

thats what i was thinking about the rain...though i have a scaler....and i dont mind a small amount of rain when out and about. where i was looking at playing is more of a comp place anyway |

Well if you are in duluth area check out brighton beach that is always fun down by the lake. Enger tower is the site of our next comp and some good scaler and comp stuff in that area. Otherwise if you are more up the shore I know Wild bill has been crawling a lot at the break wall in two harbors. I believe that is were one of the fall comps are going to be. I know there is some scaler stuff around knife river area. We comped there once last year but it was hard to find difficult terrain to comp on. I will watch the boards just give me a few hours lead time and I will see if I can make it. Wife has plans for us this weekend cleaning and rearranging furniture. Ya me. LOL. But I will try to sneak away if you find a time without rain. I am not waterproof so I am not crawling in the rain.

the place i like to go to is called stoney point... its right by tom's logging camp. yeah ive got a body on my crawler so some rain drops arent a biggy for me. though i dont want to be in the rain anymore then anybody else.

thinking about going at noon today...it isnt suppose to rain till 4ish so that gives a good amount of time

Sorry I am not going to be able to make it. Wife has other plans and holiday weekend she is not giving me any options. Maybe next time.
