Default MNRCRC Scaler GTG Saturday 5/4/13 Duluth
This Saturday, we are heading to Duluth for our first scaler GTG (get together) of the year!

A few basics...
Who: Anyone and everyone...no classes=run what you brung!
What: A laid back day of wheeling
When: Saturday 5/4/13, meet in the parking lot at 12noon.
Where: Chester Bowl in Duluth-CLICK FOR MAP
Why: For fun!
How much: FREE!!!

Our scaler events are treated as a trail ride. That being said, it is recommended to bring a backpack or a way of carrying spare batteries, parts, and tools. Be sure to pack water and food too.

If you haven't been to one of our scaler events before, you can expect a fun day of crawling. It's not an organized comp, nor part of our competition series. However, we have been known to occassionally put together an impromptu challenge like a Dollar Dance, or $10 Challenge for those who are interested.

I have 3 trucks ready now. 2 for me and 1 extra. If any body has extra 2s batteries bring 'em with I'm running a little light (for the rental).

Yeah, at least 3 are needing repairs. All seemingly simple. They can't tumble that far, that hard boys.

We had fun. It was a good time and great turn out. I'll carry my butane soldering iron for next time.


Here's what I got.








A nice panoramic photo. From Enger tower looking towards Superior. Pretty cool view for a scale run.






Popped the front dog bone a couple times, otherwise lovin the new IFS.
