I talked to the Debbie at Hannibal Rocks Off Road Park yesterday, she said they would help host a RC crawler event during a RRock event (1:1 crawler event) if anyone is interested in helping to organize an event. The park is an old rock quarry and would make an excellent place for a comp.

Hell I would be up for it, as long as I actually get to run too,lol. Nacho and I can talk to the guys here this weekend at our GTG and see who else is interested. Nice to find there might actually be a real comp, not these "playing on painted foam piled on a peice of plywood". Not sure how much help i can be with the event, but I will do what I can, never done that much of it before, guess there wouldnt be much to it really though.

The next time that the park is open is April 19 & 20. The next RRock event is May 3rd They also host a WE Rock event April 26 & 27. We could meet there any of those dates to organize and test run.

I plan to take the axial with me to the WE rock event April 26th We won't be able to have a competetion that day but we could do some practice runs and organizing for a competetion during the RRock event May 3rd if anyone is interested.

If you all are serious about this, let me know and we'll
have some courses set up for you during the next RROCK comp which
is June 14th.
The other RROCK dates that we have that we could coincide with your
comps are July 13th and Aug 23rd.

I could provide score sheets and we'll have courses set up for you.
We would need you folks to take care of judging your courses.
We could work with rules that you have or you could go off of our basic RROCK Course rules.

I'd like to have several (8 to 10) commited and then I would begin advertising it in the area.

I am wondering what happened here, things died off on the thread and I am really looking forward to doing something like this.

MISSOURI CLUBS: CHIME IN HERE, everyone sounded interested, but nothing since, I know myself and plenty of GSRC would be willing to go, hopefully CMRCRC and the KC guys could find the time to make it too.

Me and my son will be there,as long as the date dosen't conflict with one of our CMRCRC comps.

Should be able to grab a couple more CMRCRC guys too *cough*Dez,Ross,johnRob*cough*

I'll try to show up since i only live like 20 mins from the park, don't know if my wheely king is comp ready but what the heck it will tell me what i need to work on to make it better.

Anyone else?Come on guys this will be a great chance to showcase what R/C crawling is all about.Will also be a great chance to introduce some more people to the hobby.Plus you will get a chance to see some full size crawlin too.

I'll be there, Also diggerj talked like he would be interested, I'll also call a couple guys here locally that are into crawlin. I will also call Hammers in Springfield, some of their group might come. THANKS Hannibal Rocks for hosting this for us. I will be there to help set up or judge or whatever is needed.

I have talked to three guys who are planning to be there on the 14th in addition to the guys who have posted on the board. Hopefully we will have enough participation to make it a good event.
